O gracious and loving God, we come before you today with humble hearts and a desire to live according to your 10 commandments. We acknowledge that these commandments are a guide for us to live a life pleasing to you and to others around us.
We pray for the strength to resist temptation and to keep your commandments in our hearts and minds. Help us to love you above all else and to put you first in our lives. Forgive us when we fail to honor your commandments and give us the courage to seek your forgiveness and make things right.
Grant us the wisdom to always speak truthfully, to be faithful in our relationships, and to honor our parents. Help us to cherish and respect the sacredness of life and to never take it for granted.
May we strive to always act with kindness and compassion towards others, avoiding envy, greed, and jealousy. Give us the courage to be content with what we have and to share our blessings with those in need.
Lord, may we always seek your guidance and follow your commandments, for they are the path to true happiness and fulfillment. We ask this in the name of your son, Jesus Christ. Amen.
